About the Artist

My name is Brenda Haydel-Lacoste. I am the reborn artist behind the scenes of Precious Creations by MiMi. I live outside the New Orleans, Louisiana area with my husband Larry.  We have five children and  five grandchildren who all call me MiMi and Larry GiGi.

Reborning, I have found the passion of my life in reborning these precious little babies.I cannot begin to describe the joy that these babies have brought into my life. It brings such wonderful memories of when my own children were babies and it seems that I can recapture those moments through reborning. It is my way of expressing how much I have for the love of babies and life. It was the missing link in my retirement years.  Through the years, I took many kinds of art classes, never  knowing that it would take me  through the most rewarding years of my life.  These babies are works of art and I take it very seriously.  This art has to come from the heart and that is what the passion is all about. My heart and sole are put into each little one and  there is nothing overlooked. Please be assured that I use the highest quality materials found. My goal is to create the most realistic baby that will be treasured as a heirloom for many generations. 

My hope is that I can bring that same joy and happiness to someone who has the same love for dolls.

Hi Brenda-I have just received Kammie today she is totally beautiful you are a true artist. I cant believe how realistic she looks. Evie arrived this afternoon - she is beautiful & cuddly.  & her little outfit just suits her. Evie's hair is just right - the color & texture are exactly what I hoped for.
